The Civil Service Commission of the Philippines recently announced last October 16, 2018 the Civil Service Examination schedule for next year, 2019. The CSE-PPT (Paper and Pencil Test) exams for Professional and Subprofessional Level will be conducted in two examinations/batches, just like the exams conducted in the past few years.
The announcement for 2019 Civil Service Exam includes the examination schedule for the following:
Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Sub-Professional Level;
Foreign Service Officer (CSE-FSO);
Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE);
Pre-Employment Test;
Promotional Test;
Ethics Oriented Personality Test (EOPT); and
Intermediate Competency on Local Treasury Examination (ICLTE).

Please do take note that examination slots are on a first come, first served basis. There are chances that you might not be able to successfully apply for the examination even if it is within the application period. This is due to the region you are taking the exam already have no slots available for you. What you can do is apply on a different Civil Service office and hope that there is still an available slot. So, file early to avoid this inconvenience!
